Third-party Audits

Selection of Auditors: The GENE project engages with multiple third-party security firms known for their credibility and expertise in blockchain technology. These firms are carefully selected based on their past work, specialization in smart contracts, and their reputation in the industry.

Audit Process: The auditing process involves a comprehensive examination of our smart contract code to identify potential security issues such as reentrancy attacks, overflow bugs, and improper access controls. Auditors also validate the logic of the contract to ensure it meets the intended functionalities without any flaws.

Publication of Audit Reports: Upon completion, the detailed audit reports are made publicly available. These reports include descriptions of any vulnerabilities discovered, the risk levels associated with them, and the steps taken to resolve them. Transparency in audit findings and resolutions plays a crucial role in building and maintaining trust with our users and stakeholders.

Post-Resolution Verification: After issues identified during audits are resolved, the updated code undergoes a follow-up review to ensure all fixes are properly implemented and no new issues have arisen. This step is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the smart contracts post-audit.
